Tic-Tac-Toe

get-attachment?????????????????????????????????????????????????????????????????????????????????????????????

My older sister recently sent me a picture of an adorable tic-tac-toe DIY game that had recently been featured on goodshomedesign.com. That was all it took…before I knew it, I could only think about painting cute little bugs. After locating my wood-burning tool and a few thicker, seasoned log slabs from my workshop, I set to work. My husband is very understanding; when he arrived home from work that night, there were stone bugs all over the kitchen counter, drying. It looked like a picnic gone terribly wrong.

The slab base has felt feet, and is stained, followed by a protective coating of shellac. Each critter (two sets of 4 pieces per game) also has a coat of poly on it. The slabs vary in diameter, from 4″ in diameter by 1″ deep to 6″ in diameter by 2″ deep. The game can easily be kept outdoors and used in your yard, garden, porch, or while camping, etc. Each game comes with a small burlap bag to store and/or transport your critters. Besides critter rocks, you can choose from flowers, fruits, or if you have an idea for a custom order, please email me.
