“Grow Old With Me” Magazine Rack

11 12

This piece was a section of pallet leftover from a bench I made. With the wide slats and beautiful wood, it made a great magazine rack. I cut and screwed a piece of reclaimed pine on the base, sanded the entire rack, and then wood glued the letters on. (These were a great find at Michael’s.)  It is left unfinished. The rack can hold magazines, books, wine (surprise!), flower vases, etc.  It can easily be mounted onto a wall (make sure you secure the screws into studs) or kept on the floor. Or sit it on a long table. Or put it on a rock wall. Or anywhere. If you’re interested in it, you’re probably already thinking of a place for it.
