The Arbor

IMG_9359

Friends of mine got married this past weekend in a beautiful outdoor ceremony. The arbor was built for them; this is it in its original location before the heavens opened up and a small army of nicely dressed men quickly shuffled the arbor out of the rain and under the tent. (While the arbor is waterproof, the bride, groom and wedding party were not.)

I distressed the 7 1/2 foot structure with black walnut Minwax stain and added ivy and a flowering vine (that I have no idea what it’s called) from our yard. The whole arbor comes apart in four easy pieces: the two sides, the arch, and the step. It can be used with or without the step. If used without the step, four stakes will secure it in place.

The Arbor*: $75  (finished in white, natural, or black walnut)

*The above arbor can also be rented for special events – please email me if interested! Delivery available in PA, DE, NJ, NY and VT.
