“Grow Old With Me” custom sign

I never know what may be delivered on my porch in a standard day. It could be chunks of black walnut. Pallets. A piece of barn wood. A chair. Every day is full of surprises.

Chris recently walked in the house with a few planks that a colleague gave him at the office.

“These are from a historic home,” he said, handing them over gingerly, carefully navigating hand holds around the rusty nails.  The wood was in amazing condition for being 100 years old.

Soon after, a customer placed a custom order for a 42nd anniversary gift for her husband. I don’t believe in coincidences.  The planks were the prefect size for the order.

The huge sign made it safely to its home in Ohio. It makes my heart happy to create custom pieces that hold so much meaning to those who buy them.
